Impressive 15’’ H.L. Leonard  Salmon  Rod, two handed 3/2 ,red intermediates and main wraps, patent-dated ferrules, and 3/8’ ’to ½’’  cork rings on the handles. The all nickel silver reel seat bears the patent date May 31, 1880, with a down sliding band that locks in place. At the lower end, the seat is stamped:”The Leonard Rod, Leonard & Mills Co., Makers”. The cork handles are moderately soiled but sound. All sections are full length and straight.
